Felt Ghosts

Felt Ghost Sewing Project

• White felt (for the ghost body)
• Black felt (for the face)
• A small piece of red felt (for the tongue)
• Needle and thread or sewing machine
• Scissors
• Hot glue (optional)
• Stuffing or wrapped candy (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut Out the Ghost Pieces

• Cut two matching ghost shapes from white felt for the front and back.
• Cut an oval shape from white felt for the bottom of the ghost.

2. Make the Ghost Face

• From black felt, cut out eyes, a mouth, and any other facial features you like.
• From red felt, cut a small tongue shape.
• Place these pieces on the front ghost body and attach them by:
  • Hot gluing, or
  • Hand sewing, or
  • Machine sewing

3. Sew the Ghost Body

• Place the two ghost body pieces right sides together (face on the inside).
• Pin around the edges to hold them in place.
• Sew around the sides and top of the ghost, leaving the bottom edge open.

4. Attach the Bottom Oval

• Pin the felt oval around the open bottom edge of the ghost body.
• Sew all the way around the oval to close the bottom.
• Trim any extra felt if needed so the ghost can stand upright.

5. Add a Slit for Candy (Optional)

• Carefully cut a small slit in the back of the ghost.
• Use this opening to stuff the ghost with candy or light stuffing.
