Sew a Snack Bag
These directions are to sew a snack bag. The great thing about
this sewing tutorial is you can design your bag to fit different
personalities and it is a baggie that can be used over and over
again.
Sewing Materials Available
Sewing a Reusable Snack Baggie
To get started on your reusable snack baggie, cut two pieces of
fabric and a piece of interfacing the following dimensions, 9 x
5-1/2 inches.
Layer your outside fabric, interfacing and inside lining. You can
make the outside and the lining different fabric if you'd like.
Turn the top edges down 1/4 inch on the inside lining and sew a
hem on each end.
Cut a strip of Velcro and pin to your hemmed edge. Contrasting
Velcro on separate ends. Sew Velcro along the 4 sides.
Fold in half with the outside fabric on the inside. Sew along
sides.
Turn inside out.
